9 people throwing up with only two working bathrooms is chaos like you’ve never seen.  And with the fevers, everybody wants to sit in the shower and one of our 3 bathrooms is in the middle of a remodel and is out of commission. We’ve been slammed with a stomach thing Kait brought home from her fancy new job last week.  She was the only one sick so we assumed it was a food thing until Saturday night when everybody starting running for the toilets, one right after another.

I have no idea how Maggie has avoided it so far.  She just figured out how to make it to the toilet to pee and I’m absolutely sure she wouldn’t be able to do the same if she was throwing up. I’m so hoping for mercy and that maybe she’s just not going to catch this bug.

Lanie is a little grumpy tonight and has a lot of gas but she’s eating and hasn’t gotten sick so I’m hoping the nursing will help kill off the bug before it causes her to feel too bad.

If you want to participate in the 10th annual 31 for 21 grab the button on my sidebar.  Big Blueberry Eyes is hosting it and you can start anytime in October so don’t worry if you’re late. You don’t have to have a child with Down syndrome to participate.  You don’t even have to know a person with Down syndrome to participate.  Really, you don’t even have to write about Down syndrome. Just write every day in October and dedicate it to 31 for 21. And grab the button and put it somewhere on your blog or your Facebook or tweet it or Instagram it or anything really.
