A Baby Is Born

Samuel David is here! He was born on Wednesday, May 16th at 12:35. A good sized 8 lb 12 oz baby boy he is! Here he is at about 30 minutes after birth.

Labor was, well, labor. God was merciful however, and the severely painful contractions only lasted an hour or so. I pushed for 12 or 13 minutes and Sam arrived without a spot or wrinkle. We were all amazed at how clean he was.

I came home from the hospital on Thursday afternoon and all has been well. I am comfortable and well taken care of by my husband and children and Sam is hardly put down at all. My 12 year old daughter is totally in love with him.

So, everything is great here! Once again God has showered down his blessings upon us!
