A Family Game Night Giveaway!

Anybody who has read this blog for any length of time already knows that my family is big on family time.  When many families are running to and fro, eating fast food, and speaking only in passing, my family has made it a point to slow down and enjoy life together.

So, when MyBlogSpark partnered with Pillsbury and sent me a Pillsbury Family Game Night package, I was all about it. 

Because we don’t have TV, it is much easier for our family to stay connected.  We have found a common love for board games and often go through gaming spurts where we can be found every evening sitting around our dining room table challenging each other, laughing, and having good conversation.

When my Pillsbury package arrived with the board game, Pictureka, inside my kids were excited to try it out and immediately opened it up and started playing it right by the front door.  All of them, down to my 5 year old, were able to play this game.  It was easy to figure out and we think Sam(2) could understand enough to play it, as well.

And the 4 pizza shaped plates that came in the package are perfect for homemade pizza!  My family loves creating homemade pizzas with whatever we can find in the refrigerator.  A little homemade spaghetti sauce with some salami and cheese, or ketchup and mustard with ground beef and cheese – we love trying out something new.  And Pillsbury makes it easy with their refrigerated pizza crust.  Just pop open the container, roll out the dough, top and bake!
