It has been a pretty crazy couple of weeks around here. I don’t know why I ever expect anything different though.

Rabbit finished his Helicopter Aircraft Commander boards and did very well.  We’re all very happy about this because he spent quite a bit of his first month home from deployment working and studying.

Our family, along with all the kids’ friend’s families have been hit by a truck had the flu for more than a week now.  Non-vax’d and vax’d alike, we all got it. Just in case you haven’t experienced it this year, it’s not so much fun.  I don’t recommend it.
It has ruined Rabbit’s and my weekend getaway plans to St. Augustine.  Boo.

Jesse had a birthday on the 9th and is very happy about being 4, constantly holding up 4 fingers, reminding me of his new age.

And Kait turned 18.

18!

I have an 18 year old adult child.  How cool is that?  We haven’t even had a party for her or anything though because she’s adamant about waiting until all of her friends are over the flu before we celebrate.  It could be another week before that happens.

There is nothing funny to tell.  Actually, I’m sure there have been plenty of funny things going on but with the flu and all, I think I’m missing a lot.
