Ben = 7
Today is Benjamin’s 7th birthday and, as I always try to do on my kids’ birthdays, I am going to write a short post about him.
Ben was born at the tail end of a huge RI snow storm that had our front door snowed closed. The night of his birth involved a lot of snow, a lost camera, a hitchhiker, a rude and impatient doctor, an imminent C-section, and a very last minute answer to prayer for a non-surgical birth.
Ben has always been my most serious child.
Seriously smart. Seriously loveable.
Seriously silly.
He used to be little.
But he’s not all that little anymore.
I love you, Benjamin Bear! I love the way you love your baby sister, how you look up to your older sister, and how you respect your brothers. I love your smile, your hugs, your laughter, your curiosity, and your helpfulness. I love how your specially unique personality fits so perfectly with our family.
