blessings from the pantry
I found something tasty in my pantry.
I don’t like peanut butter. Not even a little bit. However, this stuff is different.
For Christmas the most awesome husband in the entire world put a jar of Nutella and a jar of White Chocolate Wonderful in my stocking. The Nutella isn’t loving me right now.
I don’t want to talk about it.
But apparently the White Chocolate Wonderful, a blend of peanut butter and sweet white chocolate, is liking me just fine. But not on bread. Or a tortilla. Or fruit.
I’m eating it straight from the jar.
With a spoon.
Something is telling me that this might not be good. I looked in the mirror last night and realized that my face seems twice as large as it did a week ago.
But this stuff is so good.
The jar says that it’s all natural. So, it can’t be all bad.
There is no evil in it (aka high fructose corn syrup).
Plus, there are monkeys on it with halos and angel wings.
That has to count for something, right?
It looks like it is supposed to be good for you. But nothing that tastes this amazing at this stage of pregnancy can possibly be healthy.
But this isn’t stopping me from eating it. Straight out of the jar. With a spoon.
I’m sure it’s all going to my face.
