Bloggy Carnivals – Totally Fun or Simply Overwhelming?

I remember a year or so ago there were maybe 3 or 4 hundred to go through. It was a bit overwhelming then but not so much that I couldn’t take some time out to enjoy blog hopping and contest entering. I won a few and was really excited about the next one. Over the last few carnivals, however, more and more people have chosen to participate. While this is terrific it also means that I just don’t have time to wade through all of them and enter a few. Plus, all those pink entry words make my eyes do a little jiggle and give me a headache.

So, for me I think I will just post giveaways and maybe enter one or two myself if something catches my eye.

It is too bad that we can’t have the Carnival spread out over a few weeks so only a few hundred giveaways are up at one time. Anyway, winning blessings to you if you choose to wade through the Bloggy Carnival crowd.
