Since my little rant yesterday Facebook has sent out some new promises.  Even though I still think Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is as untrustworthy as they come, I do feel the need to pass this update on.

So, go and  read What Facebook does when something’s rotton.  Then you can decide for yourself if you’re still going to trust them with all your life.

And, by the way, the only way to permanently delete your Facebook account is to go here, delete it, then NOT sign back into it. Any activity within 2 weeks after you delete your account will void that deletion.  Facebook makes money off of you.  They don’t want you to leave.

Permanently deleting your account (which is not the same as deactivating it, by the way) will delete everything on your own account, but sadly will not delete any info of yours that you may have on your friends’ accounts.  That’s there until those friends delete it.

Have I made it clear that I’m anti-facebook yet?
