Home Again

For those who want info about how Ryan’s donation went – we are home again and everything went well. He only had minor side effects from the shots they gave him and the actual donation was long and boring, but easy. He was very tired and a little swollen for a day or so but he is fully recovered now – 3 days later.

Thank you for all your prayers! Now we just need to pray for the recipient to take to the marrow. Whoever it is received it the same day or next day after Ryan donated. We don’t know him, just that it is a 59 year old man with Leukemia. If you can please say a prayer for him that his body doesn’t reject the marrow…

Thanks again for all of you who prayed for Ryan during this – and for me and my terrible anxiety over flying. We are safe at home now. God is good!
