i could be why you’ve been getting those headaches

Kait mentioned to me today that having a blog has changed me and that she and the boys have greatly benefited from those changes.
Instead of getting irritated with us you just take it to your blog now and make a funny post with it.  You’ve been more even. And you haven’t even hit me on the head with a hairbrush or anything since you started writing about us.

After she said that I paused and thought about it.  Really?
She said, Yes.  It’s like you’re hitting your readers on the head with a hairbrush instead.

So, if you have a headache after reading this blog, now you know why.  I’m sorry about that.  I’ll try to be less aggressive.

P.S. I realize that something here might need to be clarified. The hairbrush thing is an old joke between Kait and myself and possibly my sis-in-law, Cassie, but maybe not because I might be remembering that wrong. What I’m saying is don’t be alarmed and think I abuse my daughter by whacking her head with a hairbrush.  Okay, be alarmed if you want, but realize you’re just wasting your alarmness on something that doesn’t call for it.
