I sort of wish I had another daughter and I could call her Sally. But that really doesn’t have anything to do with this post.

The sun did not shine.
It was too wet to play.
So we sat in the house
All that cold, cold, wet day.

I sat there with Sally.
We sat there, we two.
And I said, “How I wish
We had something to do!”

Too wet to go out
And too cold to play ball.
So we sat in the house.
We did nothing at all.

Ummm…
No.

Not my kids. Or most of the neighbor kids.
To them rain means one thing.

4-square.

To these kids, playing in the rain is as natural as Krispy Kreme Donuts.

Those are pretty natural and wholesome, right?
