it has started.
The veggies are chopped, the potatoes are peeled and soaking in chicken broth in the fridge. Uncle Frank’s mac-n-cheese is prepared and in the freshly cleaned out fridge beside the green bean casserole – both awaiting baking, and the turkey is bathing in a bucket of brine.

And I seriously need a shower now because I spilled chicken broth all over myself not once, but TWICE because thinking about what I’m doing has become secondary these last few days.
It’s okay though because if you remember from a previous post, I have a serious head injury. Probably.
And, yes, I’m holding a baby on my hip as I chopped onion. I figured it’s about time she learns how to prepare a thanksgiving meal.
