Today is black Friday.

In case you didn’t know.

I went shopping today, on black Friday, but I didn’t mean it.  I have no interest in the crowds – to me it’s just not worth the money saved to deal with cranky, sweaty, swarms of people who all have low blood sugar cause they didn’t eat breakfast and need naps because they got up way too early.

So, we didn’t end up leaving the house till 11ish.  Actually, we didn’t even decide to go until about 30 minutes before we left. Maybe that doesn’t count as black Friday shopping?  I was a little suprised that there were no really awful crowds.  Good deals were almost non-existent, too.  I’m just not sure what all the hype is.

Maybe I’m just not good at this type of bargain shopping.

But I did end up purchasing something.  It was wire.  For jewelry making.  And it was quite possibly the only thing at Hobby Lobby that was not on sale.

And a Coke.  But I accidentally made my friend pay for that.  It wasn’t on sale either.

[sorry marty]

Maybe I should have planned better.
Maybe I should have paid closer attention to the ads.
Maybe I should have filled up on carbs and other energy foods, wore my running shoes and a camel pak.

[i'm thinking]

Nah. I really just don’t care enough.
