Paper Back Swap – A Great Find!

I haven’t had much time to read lately. It has actually been bugging me that I am too tired to pick up a book. Whenever I do I fall asleep within minutes.
Such is the life of a pregnant woman.
However, my daughter has gone through every book we have that she is allowed to read and has been dying for some fresh stories. I went to Paper Back Swap today to join and get her some new reading material. I had heard of this website before but had never gotten around to looking into it. I am ever so glad that I did!

I never realized how very cool Paper Back Swap was until today.

All you have to do to join is list 10 books you are willing to part with, paperback or not. After that you get 2 free book credits which you can use to order 2 books right away! This is totally, absolutely FREE OF CHARGE!
The only money you are ever out is shipping a book to somebody who requests it. This is usually no more than $2. Plus, every book you mail out gets you another book credit to use for a free book so every time you give you get! And since there are more than 2 million books available at the Paper Back Swap you will always be able to find something interesting to add to your reading library.

When someone requests one of your books, all you have to do is print a two page document on regular paper from your printer, and use them to wrap the book. The wrapper includes the mailing address and the amount of postage. Then drop the package in the outbound mail.

It isn’t as cheap as the library when you consider outbound shipping, but with Paper Back Swap there is no time limit and I can keep the books I really like.
