Sammy Can Talk!

Sam (12 mo) has been enjoying apple sauce often lately and in trying to teach him the sign for ‘apple’ I actually taught him how to speak the word ‘apple’. Actually, he would only say ‘app’ but that was good enough for me.
So, while the cinnamon rolls were rising in the oven Kait and I gave him a taste of the filling mess on the counter. He said ‘mm’ and started hollering for some more. Kait made him quiet down and then gave him one more taste. Of course, he wanted more. When I said no he got stiff legs and arms and started hollering in his mad babiness, “apple, apple, apple!”, the little stinker. He said the entire word perfectly and Kaitlyn and I were stunned and laughing. She totally melted and gave him more of the sweet cinnamon filling that tasted nothing like applesauce.

I’m going to attempt to get it on video tomorrow.

We are creating a monster.
