Snow Day Take 2

This was Sammy’s(8 mo) first snow experience, besides trips from the house to the car which really don’t count. He isn’t smiling. As you may be able to see from the picture below, he is wearing fresh tears. He really didn’t like me setting him down in the white stuff, but was fine as long as I was holding him.
He looks really unhappy here. He was very put out and he let me know it.
The video below is of Ben(3). All he did for the entire 30 minutes he was outside was eat snow. He didn’t move from his station. He just stood there eating snow, bending down to grab more snow, then eating snow. I guess if he was happy…
Matthew (4) was all about Karate Chopping my frozen Japanese Maple. He is going to be Anakin when he grows up so I guess he was getting in some fighting practice.

just thinking your going to miss all the snow when you move…
You know, it is funny that I really don’t like winter. I am from South Carolina and I like a good hot, humid day.
I had to change my mind this winter though. It is the last time we will have snow for quite a while and I just decided to get out there and love it.

Oooh, fresh tears. I know exactly how cute and how heartbreaking they are at the same time. And isn’t it wonderful how fast their cries turn into laughter when we distract them?
