This post is about a $25 Publix gift card. But the comments are about toothpaste. And possibly spitballs.
This week’s giveaway is for a very shiny, new, rectangle-y $25 gift card to Publix. As I have said before, these are my favorite giveaways because gift cards make me smile and feel happy and Publix restores my faith in grocery store employees every time. Except when I’m using a lot of coupons.
To enter this giveaway you must:
- Read this post in its entirety. With interest, Yall, because I SAID SO.
- Leave a comment telling me about your tube of toothpaste. Do you roll it up neatly as the tube empties or is it a messy squished up disaster? If your comment doesn’t say anything about toothpaste I’m going to assume you didn’t read this post, your comment won’t count, and all my other commenters will laugh at you and probably throw spitballs at you (but not in a mean way because that would be wrong). That’s just how we roll around here, people.
- Make sure that your email address is real. I shouldn’t have to explain why here but I won’t publish your email. It’s only used to notify you if you win.
- You can leave a second entry if you pass this giveaway on via your blog or Facebook or Twitter or however.
Enter to win by May 29th, 2012. The winner will be announced shortly after.
Now – read on to find what this is all about.

Our toothpaste tube is in a constant state of flux. I’m a squisher and David is a roller, so it goes back and forth. And this is now officially the strangest blog comment I think I’ve ever left anywhere but I love me some Publix.

My toothpaste tube is a mess. I have 3 kids and they squeeze the heck out of it, getting toothpaste all over the counter.

I ALWAYS roll up my toothpaste tube, so that I don’t waste any bit of it!

My toothpaste tube is a messy squished up disaster. I try to roll it but somehow it just doesn’t work out.
My toothpaste tube sits in a little holder thing (employing that unused vertical space!), so rolling it up is impractical because it gets stuck in the holder. But I never have any issues getting the toothpaste out because I’m nice to it, and it returns the favor.
My toothpaste is in between those two extreme categories, but tends towards the extremely neat side of life. It isn’t rolled, but it is nicely flattened. Thank you for asking.
Our toothpaste is kind of rolled up,(doesn’t like to stay sometimes).

My toothpaste isn’t too messy but it isn’t neat and rolled up either. It has a few bumps in it.

I flatten my toothpaste. It’s not too messy. I wash the tip off if it gets some on the tip.
My toothpaste tube is somewhere between squeezed, rolled up, and smushed – anything to get the last bit out!
I roll them up neatly, even use a tool (the one I got years ago from Crabtree& Evelyn)

We roll our tube up nicely so as to keep the toothpaste close to the front of the tube as possible!
Thanks for the chance to win!

My toothpaste is nice because I flatten it every time I use it.

i roll my toothpaste up neatly as i use it!
Our toothpaste stays pretty neat. We don’t roll it up, just squeeze from the bottom up.
It’s a squished up mess usually! But it is a pretty new tube of Colgate, so it’s not too bad yet!

I usually do not do anything with the tube until it starts to get empty then I start rolling it from the bottom to get the toothpaste out.
