we call it a zoo

A friend of mine brought her brother to church with her today. He sat near a few of my boys at the common meal we have with our church family every Sunday and talked with them.

At one point the conversation turned to how many children we have and the guy asked my 11 year old, Joe, if our quiver was full. Joe looked at him and said, “what?” The guy then said, “you have a quiverfull – that’s what you call it, right?”

Joe replied, “We call it a zoo.”

That about sums it up pretty good.
